Tooth Problem?

One of my back teeth is very sensitive. It doesn't hurt to eat on it, but if I drink something and liquid hits it, it hurts pretty bad. The pain only last for about 5 seconds then it goes away. It only hurts when liquid hits it. I went to the dentist about 3 months ago and I didn't have any cavities. Could this just be a sensitive tooth? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Answer:
Buy yourself some Sensodyne toothpaste, or any toothpaste with potassium nitrate in it, as well as sodium fluoride or stannous fluoride, and use it regularly whenever you brush your teeth. Top that off with a good fluoride mouthwash, such as Act, and your tooth sensitivity should abate over time. You might have something known as dental erosion, too, which can cause tooth sensitivity in one tooth, but the toothpaste and mouthwash will also work for that problem. Good luck!
You need sensitive toothpaste and this will go away fast.
Calcium supplements may help also
it sounds like a cavity, but it could just be a sensitive tooth
