I got a tooth extraction 3 days ago, and the gum area around the tooth seems to be bruised. it is not painful to the touch, but has a purple tint.They did give me a numbing shot, 2 outer-side 1 inner-side, could that have anything to do with it? Is this normal?
Answer:
its quite normal as it takes a lot of leverage to extract a tooth. the purple colouration will go away in about a week.
