Tooth Pain?

I am having some pretty bad tooth pain on my lower left side. I have tried taking aleve, ibuprofen, but neither one has really helped. I have a dentist's appointment, but it's not for a while and I can't wait. What can I do in the meantime?
Answer:
mix hot water with salt. Make the water as hot as you can stand in your mouth. swish it around and tilt your head so the water and salt are bathing the tooth. Do this as often as needed. It will take the soreness out, keep it clean and fight back infection. Don't skip your appointment even if the tooth feels better. Be careful putting aspirin directly on the tooth. It can damage the gum tissue and the lining on the inside of your mouth. It does help but my dentist really warned me against doing it.
it's probably absest and you need an antibiotic. Call your doctor see if they'll call in a prescription.
oil of cloves from chemist-dab it on tooth-not gum
call the dentist -there is one available 24/7.
Well, don't chew any gum or any food on that side. You probably hav a cavity.
brush your teeth good and dont eat too much sweets and hard to chew food
Since you are having pain, call the dentist office and tell the person to whom you are speaking, that you are in pain. You will be able to go in on an emergency. I seriously doubt you will be made to wait until your appoint. It sounds as if you have an abscess, and this shouldn't be put off.
u know what 2 do so dont ask y/a people
Some use Anbesol. I swicsh warm salt water and peroxide.
put alot of ice on it until it nums your tooth area
Take pain pills.
This helps me when i have a tooth pain. try putting a clove. when you place it between the tooth press it. And let it stay there. add pressure. Hope it helpsAbs
put an aspirin directly on the tooth.
i have some remedies that you should try:
1. prepare a cup of chamomile tea and saturate a white wash cloth in it. wring it out, then apply it to your cheek or jaw-the outside area of your toothache.when the cloth gets cld do it again.
2. make a cup of stronger than usual sage tea. if your teeth are not sensitive to ''hot'' hold the hot tea in your mouth for half a minute then swallow and take another mouthful. keep doing this untill the tea is gone and hopefully the pain is gone.
3. mix 1 teaspoon of epsom salt with 1 cup of hot water and swish it around then spit it out. one cup should do the trick hope you feel better
try some cloves of cloves. If that doesn't work use orajel
