Toothe Pulled?

how do they pull a toothe ?
im 14 how would they do it?
shots or ne thing??
Answer:
local anasthaetic
u'll have to eat lots of icecream afterwords
They will numb you and then slowly work the tooth out of it 's socket. it normally does not hurt if the tooth is ready to be pulled, i.e. loose already.
I had this done not long ago. They numb it with a few shots. Then they will make a small cut around the tooth, and then pull it. You will have stitches for a week or so. Some stitches are the kind that just disappear. Others you have to get taken out.
They will probably give you Novocaine which is in a needle and they give you a shot in your gums. After that you can't even feel anything in your mouth and it doesn't hurt when they pull the tooth. They use some special clamps that grab the tooth and then they pull it out.
Ouch! They'll give you a shot in your gum [really fine needle after they apply a little anesthetic spray so you won't feel it that bad] and when your jaw area around the tooth is numb...close your eyes and don't watch the tooth-grabber thingie! You'll hear a kind of squelchy sound when the dentist pulls the tooth out, they'll have you rinse your mouth out quite a lot and then tell you how to take care of the hole left behind [mostly salt-water rinses, as I recall] and then you get to go home. It isn't fun, but it isn't forever...and leaving a bad tooth in is LOTS worse [toothaches, bad affects on the teeth on each side, etc.] so get it over with! Soft stuff to eat until the hole heals up [milkshakes really hit the spot] and you'll have lots of tales to tell about Tooth Day.
They will either give you shots of novacaine or something, or they may give you nitrous oxide ( laughing gas ). Then they'll wiggle the tooth and pop it out. It will bleed for a little while and be sore for a couple days, but you can handle it.
they will numb the gum area with a swab, wait for that to take affect...then give you a local anaesthetic from a needle, it does not hurt because of the swab before that.
After waiting for the local to take effect...the dentist will take a small "plunger" for the lack of a better word...it is a spring loaded hammer type of thing...he will loosen the tooth with this..again no pain because of the local.
then he will take the "pliers" for lack of a better word again...pull the tooth, with no pain to you...and there goes the tooth.
Then they will put a small wad of gauze and have you bite down on that so the bleeding will be a minimum.
They will have you sit there for a while to make sure that everything went well..most simple extractions do not require stitches.
The biggest prob with this will be waiting for the "freezing" to leave...do not drink any hot beverages before it is all gone...you will m ore than likely burn yourself. Try no to chew anything till it goes away...you will more than likely bite yourself.
All in all...it is not a big deal.
