Tooth Whitening?

I just had my braces off and I have retainers, I want to bleech my teeth and im just wondering do I have to get mouth guards made for the teeth bleeching stuff or can i just stick it in my retainers and then stick it in my mouth for the 3 hours a day for 2 weeks?

I would use a separate delivery system for bleaching. You will need your retainers to last a long time. Also, the retainers fit very tightly on the teeth. Bleaching trays are made to fit a bit more loose in certain areas to allow the bleach to contact the entire surface of the teeth. So, try crest whitestrips if you only need to lighten by a shade or 2 or get custom trays made by a dentist for a more intense bleaching desire.Good Luck! And wear your retainers... The orthodontist doesn't really tell you the truth. You must wear your retainers until you die or your teeth will return to their original configuration.
